i read the third editorial; is that fabulous new toy safe.

the author did a good job, presenting the angle, and what its about. She got right to the point, and she didnt use i think, or any 1st of 2nd person so it kind of seemed like just a useual article, but yet, she still voiuced her opinions lightly so that she dosnt turn off the reader.

in my own writing i think i would stay in 3rd person because my article dosnt apply to everybody, and if i say you i dont want to seem like im pointing fingers. i would also voice my opinions a lot but not just one side so i dont turn off readers who feel differently than me.

i read the second editorial.

i think the author did a good job representing his point of view. he used his own personal experience then went into more detail towards the end. He used first person, which is what i'm going to do for my editorial because i want to do what he did and use a personal experience to support my opinion.

The writer of this editorial showed his views on the subject well. The author informed us of the new toy and the problem that the bush administration made.

In my editorial I would try to be as informative as the writer. I would try to use words like my or i as little as possible.

All of these articles provide the a detailed account of whatever their subject might be.

All of the authors off all of these do a good job presenting information without putting their opinon in at all. They all stayed in thrid person through out the article.

In my own writing i would just stick to 3rd person if i am writing a news story. I think its easier because all you have to put in their is only the facts. Also in order to make the news story work if you were to put quotes in, you would one from both sides of the argument making your article balenced.
